In the spring of 2012, a single vision ignited a journey that would transform countless hearts. Elder Tonye Erekosima, the patron of the Love Ensemble Music Ministries, felt a divine calling to create a musical ensemble that would sing beautifully, praise God, and give back to society by demonstrating God's love and providence.
His vision was clear: to form a group that would minister through sound, inspiring people to see God's goodness. What began with 30 singers from various Seventh-day Adventist churches in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, quickly evolved into a multifaceted ministry. The early years were marked by their first music event, "Three Food Truth," in November and December 2012.
Today, Love Ensemble Music Ministries stands as a testament to resilience and outreach. From those humble musical beginnings, they expanded their ministry to include medical outreaches that ministered to physical needs and offered counseling and prayers. They also launched the "Rhythm of Hope" radio program, reaching many souls and connecting people to the church.
The group, now comprising 60 members, continues to push the boundaries of ministry, supported by the patron's wife, Mrs. Uloma Vivienne Erekosima, who provides emotional, spiritual, and financial backing. The heart of their mission remains unchanged: to win souls for God's kingdom and minister to hearts. Elder Tonye Erekosima, the founding patron, reflects on their journey:
"Our ministry is not just about the songs we sing, but the lives we touch. It's about creating a space where people can see God's goodness and encounter His love in a deeply personal way."
